Learn to Curl

Coastal Carolina Curling Club hosts Learn to Curl at the Wilmington Ice House. Come early for a brief off-the-ice session. You’ll get a half-price return voucher to return for open curling. Beginners start with a half-hour off-ice session to go over the basics of curling: safety, terminology, delivery and more. Email info@coastalcurling.com to reserve a spot.


Cape Fear Beer & Wine Festival

The Jungle Book

Black Man Running 5K Run and Parade

Black Man Running 5K Run and Parade at Hugh MacRae Park in Wilmington, NC, features a running race and walk helping to build a culture of health and racial justice in the Port City. Events leading up to the start of the 5K include a 1-Mile Kids Fun Run and a parade with puppets and drummers. Black Man Running is part of the Free Movement Project and is inclusive and open to people of all backgrounds. Shortly after the race, the Social Justice Lab will take place and is free and open to the public. The event includes social justice workshops, hands-on art activities, and community dialogues.
